About the Bankstown Bullsharks

The Bankstown Bullsharks formed in 2015 and are based at Kelso Park North in Panania.

We are growing every year, with 2025 seeing close to 70 Auskickers, 4 club teams with around 100 players (from u9s to u13s) and older kids playing as part of a joint venture with other local clubs under the banner Southwest Sydney.

We have amazing facilities and community and are continuing to grow. Bankstown Bullsharks is part of the AFL Sydney Juniors, which is the governing league for the junior Australian Rules competition encompassing 50 clubs across 30 local government areas in Sydney and Greater Western Sydney. The league includes two regions, Sydney Harbour and Western Sydney, incorporating junior, youth and youth girl competitions.

Protecting young people

Protecting our young people

Bankstown Sports AFL Club is committed to promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people who participate in our games, activities, programs, services and/or use our facilities by fostering a culture where children and young people feel safe and welcome.  AFL should be safe for children and young people. At Bankstown Sports AFL Club we are committed to this.

Be safe. Feel safe. Play safe. ‘Say something’

At Bankstown Sports AFL Club, we all play a role in protecting our children and young people.

Everyone has a responsibility to say something.

If you or your child has any concerns that they would like to raise about their safety or wellbeing, please reach out to the Clubs Child Safety Support Officer at secretary@bankstownafl.com.au

Our Sponsors

Without our sponsors our club would not be able to exist, and we deeply value their contribution. Their support is essential to provide opportunities for our young players and community to enjoy the game we love. Thank you to the Bankstown Sports Club who are key to our club's continued growth.

Sponsorship helps cover the essential costs of running a successful club, from ground set up to equipment, and ensures the smooth operation of our teams throughout the season. If you are interested in sponsoring the Bullsharks please contact president@bankstownafl.com.au

Our Committee

We are a volunteer-led community organisation and are also looking out for other passionate volunteers to help us bring the local AFL community together and inspire the next generation of kids to love the game as much as we do.

We also rely on our supporter community to help us on game day, from setting up the ground to running our canteen and our parents are key to the smooth running of the club. Please get in contact if you would like to help.
